7.1 Overview

The SN74AXC2T245 is a 2-bit, dual-supply noninverting bidirectional voltage level translation device. Ax pins and control pins (DIRx and OE) are reference to VCCA logic levels, and Bx pins are referenced to VCCB logic levels. The A port is able to accept I/O voltages ranging from 0.65V to 3.6V, while the B port can accept I/O voltages from 0.65V to 3.6V. A high on DIR enables data transmission from A to B and a low on DIR enables data transmission from B to A. See Section 7.4 for a summary of the operation of the control logic.
