7.1 Overview

The SN74AXC8T245 device is an 8-bit, dual-supply non-inverting transceiver with bidirectional voltage level translation. The I/O pins labeled with A and the control pins (DIR1, DIR2, and OE) are supported by VCCA, and the I/O pins labeled with B are supported by VCCB. The A port and the B port are able to accept I/O voltages ranging from 0.65V to 3.6V.
