9.1 Overview

The TAS6424M-Q1 device is a four-channel digital-input Class-D audio amplifier specifically tailored for use in the in the automotive industry. The device is designed for vehicle battery operation. This ultra-efficient Class-D technology allows for reduced power consumption, reduced PCB area and reduced heat. The device realizes an audio sound-system design with smaller size and lower weight than traditional Class-AB solutions.
