9.2 Typical Application

The TCAN146x-Q1 is typically used as the CAN FD transceiver in applications where the host microprocessor or FPGA supporting a CAN controller does not have an integrated CAN transceiver. Below is a typical application configuration for 3.3V microprocessor applications. The TCAN146x-Q1 works with 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V microprocessors when using the VIO pin from the microprocessor voltage regulator. The bus termination is shown for illustrative purposes.
