8.3.4.1 VIO Supply PIN

A separate VIO supply pin is supported on this device. This pin should be connected to the supply voltage of the microcontroller, see Figure 17 and Figure 18. This sets the signal levels for TXD, RXD and SW pins to the I/O level of the microcontroller.
