8.3.22.9.2 Output Capacitance Selection

For stable operation over the full temperature range and with load currents up to 125 mA on VCC, a certain capacitance is expected, and depends upon the minimum load current. To support no load to full load, a value of 10 µF and ESR smaller than 2 Ω is needed. For 50 µA to full load, a smaller capacitance can be used but is system dependent and should be selected that will meet LIN to VCC cross talk compliance during DPI testing. The low ESR recommendation is to improve the load transient performance.
