If the EN pin is high at power up, the device powers up in normal mode. If the EN pin is low, it powers up in standby mode. The EN pin controls the mode of the device. In normal operational mode, the receiver and transmitter are active and the LIN transmission up to the LIN specified maximum of 20kbps is supported. The receiver detects the data stream on the LIN bus and outputs it on RXD for the LIN controller. A recessive signal on the LIN bus is a logic high and a dominant signal on the LIN bus is a logic low. The driver transmits input data from TXD to the LIN bus. Normal mode is entered as EN transitions high while the TLIN2029A-Q1 is in sleep or standby mode for > tMODE_CHANGE plus tNOMINT.
