8.2.2 Detailed Design Procedure

The TMUX6236 can operate without any external components except for the supply decoupling capacitors. All inputs passing through the switch must fall within the recommended operating conditions of the TMUX6236, including signal range and continuous current. The signal range for this design can be −15V to +15V and the maximum continuous current can be up to 330mA for wide-range current measurement with a positive supply of 15V on VDD and negative supply of −15V on VSS (for more information, see Section 5.4). The TMUX6236 device are bidirectional, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switches that offer low on-resistance, low leakage, and low power. These features make these devices suitable for precision and power sensitive applications.
