10.1 Application Information

The TPA3144D2 is designed for use in inductor free applications with limited distance wire length) between amplifier and speakers like in TV sets, sound docks and Bluetooth speakers. The TPA3144D2 can either be configured in stereo or mono mode, depending on output power conditions. Depending on output power requirements and necessity for (speaker) load protection, the built in AGL or PLIMIT circuit can be used to control system power, see functional description of these features.
