Best Design Practices

  • Use CIN ≥ 10 nF for decoupling Vcc and IN pins.
  • Do not leave the OVP, PLIM/ILIM, and IOCP/IMON pins open or floating.
  • Connect the PowerPAD of the device to GND on the PCB.
  • Do not connect the EN/SHDN pin to voltage more than 5 V.
