See Table 2 to summarize the priority between IN1 and IN2. Once IN2 reaches within VCOMP of IN1, the TPS2124 will switchover to IN2. Since IN1 is 5 V, once IN2 reaches 4.7 V (5 V – 300 mV), typically, the device will switch over to IN2. On the falling transition, once IN2 drops below VCOMP of IN1, the added hysteresis will prevent the device from switching back to IN1. Once IN2 drops below VCOMP and the hysteresis (3.5% typical) , the device will switch. Therefore, the device will switch back to IN1 once IN1 reaches (5 V – 300 mV – 175 mV), 4.525 V.
