Output Capacitor

The integral body diode in the PMOS switch will allow reverse current flow if VOUT exceeds VIN. A CL greater than CIN can cause VOUT to exceed VIN if the system supply is removed. In the case where the system supply could be removed and reverse current is a concern, a CIN greater than CL is recommended.
