PRODUCTION DATA
The stored energy in the leakage inductance of the power transformer can cause ringing during the primary FET turnoff. The snubber must be chosen to mitigate primary FET overshoot and oscillation while maintaining high overall efficiency.
It is recommended to use 39 kΩ (125 mW) for RCL and 0.1 uF (100 V) for CCL.
DCL should be an ultra-fast diode with a short forward recovery time allowing the snubber to turn on quickly. The 200-V / 1-A rated diode with a recovery time approximately 25 ns or better is recommended.
