SLVSF21D August 2019 – August 2020 TPS23882
PRODUCTION DATA
TPS23882 devices are used in the eight port configuration and are managed by the I2C host device. The I2C address for TPS23882 is programmed using the A4..A1 pins. When using multiple TPS23882 devices in a system, each device requires by a unique I2C address. See Section 9.6.2.13 for more information on how to program the TPS23882 I2C address.
A MCU is not required to operate the TPS23882 device, but some type of I2C master/host controller device is required to program the internal SRAM and initialize the basic I2C register configuration of the TPS23882.
It is recommended that the RESET pin be connected to a micro-controller or other external circuitry.
The RESET pin must be held low until both VPWR and VDD are above their UVLO thresholds.
Refer to the TPS23882EVM User's Guide for more detailed information.
