10 Power Supply Recommendations

The TPS2546-Q1 device is designed for a supply-voltage range of 4.5 V ≤ VIN ≤ 5.5 V. If the input supply is located more than a few inches from the device, an input ceramic bypass capacitor higher than 0.1 µF is recommended. In order to avoid drops in voltage during overcurrent and short-circuit conditions, choose a power supply rated higher than the TPS2546-Q1 current-limit setting.
