7.3.15 PGOOD Indication

The TPS40425 device monitors the voltage on FB pin to indicate whether the output voltage is in regulation or not. During the soft-start sequence, the PG pin is pulled to GND. After the soft-start time expires, the PG pin is released if the output voltage is within the PGOOD window (between PG_Low and PG_High). The PG pin is pulled to ground if the output voltage is below PG_Low or above PG_High.

The PMBus command MFR_SPECIFIC_07(PCT_VOUT_FAULT_PG_LIMIT can set the PG_Low and PG_High value.
