Power Good

The Power-Good (PGOOD) pin is an open-drain output. TI recommends a pullup resistor of 100kΩ to pull the voltage up to VCC. After VFB is between 90% and 115% of the target output voltage, the PGOOD is pulled high after a 200us deglitch time. The PGOOD pin is pulled low when:

  • FB pin voltage is lower than 83% or greater than 120% of the target output voltage
  • In OVP, UVP, or thermal shutdown event
  • During the soft-start period
