8.2.2.8 VDD Bypass Capacitor (C19)

A 1-μF capacitor should be placed at the VDD pin rated for the maximum input voltage. If power stage switching noise is causing faults, a small resistor (R12) can be added between VDD and all the input capacitors (C1-C5). This creates an R-C filter and reduces any switching noise in the device input.
