PRODUCTION DATA
The TPS548A29 uses a zero-crossing circuit to perform the zero inductor-current detection during skip-mode operation. The function compensates the inherent offset voltage of the Z-C comparator and delay time of the Z-C detection circuit. The zero-crossing threshold is set to a positive value to avoid negative inductor current. As a result, the device delivers better light-load efficiency.
