Device Functional Modes

The EN pin and a VIN UVLO is used to control turn on and turn off of the TPS54A24. The device becomes active when V(VIN) exceeds the 4.1 V typical UVLO and when V(EN) exceeds 1.20 V typical. The EN pin has an internal current source to enable the output when the EN pin is left floating. If the EN pin is pulled low the device is put into a low quiescent current state.
