6.3.6 Soft Start

When the input voltage is above the UVLO threshold and the voltage at the EN/UVLO pin is above the enable UVLO threshold, the TPS55289-Q1 is ready to accept the command from I2C controller device. An I2C controller device can configure the internal registers of the TPS55289-Q1 before setting the OE bit of the register 06h. Once an I2C controller device sets the OE bit to 1, the TPS55289-Q1 starts to ramp up the output voltage by ramping an internal reference voltage from 0V to a voltage set in the internal registers 00h and 01h within typical 3.6ms.
