The output voltage is set by an external resistor divider (R1, R2 in Figure 9-1). Typically, a minimum current of 10 μA flowing through the feedback divider gives good accuracy and noise covering. A resistor of less than 120 kΩ is typically selected for low-side resistor R2.
When the output voltage is regulated, the typical voltage at the FB pin is VREF. Thus, the value of R1 is calculated as:
