The under voltage lockout circuit prevents the device from malfunctioning at low input voltages and the battery from excessive discharge. The I2C control interface and the output stage of the converter are disabled once the falling VIN trips the under-voltage lockout threshold VUVLO (2 V typical). The device starts operation once the rising VIN trips VUVLO threshold plus its hysteresis of 100 mV at typ. 2.1 V.
