The maximum LED current is 1 A, and the corresponding VREF is 99 mV. Using Equation 1, calculate the needed sense resistance at 99 mΩ. Pay close attention to the power consumption of the sense resistor in this design at 99 mW, and make sure the chosen resistor has enough margin in its power rating.
