PRODUCTION DATA.
The minimum required output capacitance of the TPSM84824 is a function of the output voltage and is shown in Table 1. The required capacitance can be comprised of all ceramic capacitors or a combination of ceramic and low-ESR polymer type capacitors. When adding additional capacitors, low-ESR capacitors like the ones recommended in Low-ESR Output Capacitors are required. The required capacitance above the minimum is determined by actual transient deviation requirements. See TurboTrans (TT) for typical transient response values for several output voltage and capacitance combinations. See Table 4 for recommended output capacitors.
