FB ­­– Feedback

Connect the feedback (FB) pin to the collector of the optocoupler for secondary side regulation. This pin has an internal 60kΩ pull up for optocoupler bias. The instantaneous voltage on this pin determines the switching frequency, peak current and mode of operation (burst, foldback, valley switching or CCM) as per the control law in Figure 6-4 to deliver the required output power. Connect a 100pF or 220pF capacitor from this pin to ground for high frequency noise filtering.
