8.3 Power Supply Recommendations

The ADS921x has three independent power supplies, AVDD_5V, AVDD_1V8, and DVDD_1V8. The AVDD_5V supply provides power to the ADC driver. The AVDD_1V8 provides power to the analog circuits. The DVDD_1V8 supply provides power to the digital interface. Set the AVDD_5, AVDD_1V8, and DVDD_1V8 supplies independently to voltages within the permissible range. Figure 8-10 shows how to decouple the power supplies.
