PRODUCTION DATA
Bypass all power supply pins to ground with a low-ESR ceramic bypass capacitor. Bypass capacitors on the AVCC and inputs are recommended to be 3 to 4 times the total capacitance on the DAC outputs to make sure the inrush current does not cause localized supply collapse when the outputs transition to different voltage output. The typical recommended bypass capacitor has a value of 10 μF and is ceramic with X7R or NP0 dielectric.
To reduce noise on the internal reference, a 4.7 µF capacitor is recommended between the ADC-REF-IN/CMP pin and ground if internal reference is used to drive the ADC.
If only using internal reference, short REF-DAC and REF-OUT as close as possible to the device.
Bypass REF-DAC and REF-OUT with bypass capacitors that have a value of around 10 nF.
When using the local temperature sensor for the output bias voltage temperature compensation, place the device geographically close to the PA, preferably sharing a solid ground plane for thermal conduction.
Connect the thermal pad on the device to a large copper area, preferably a ground plane.
