JAJSL82 December 2021 AMC1350-Q1
PRODUCTION DATA
Do not leave the inputs of the AMC1350-Q1 unconnected (floating) when the device is powered up. If the device inputs are left floating, the input bias current may drive the inputs to a positive or negative value that exceeds the operating common-mode input voltage and the device output is undetermined.
Connect the high-side ground (GND1) to INN, either by a hard short or through a resistive path. A DC current path between INN and GND1 is required to define the input common-mode voltage. Take care not to exceed the input common-mode range as specified in the Section 6.3 table. For best accuracy, route the ground connection as a separate trace that connects directly to the sense resistor rather than shorting GND1 to INN directly at the input to the device. See the Section 10 section for more details.
Do not connect protection diodes to the inputs (INP or INN) of the AMC1350-Q1. Diode leakage current can introduce significant measurement error especially at high temperatures. The input pin is protected against high voltages by its ESD protection circuit and the high impedance of the external restive divider.
