7.3.5 ALERT Signal

The ALERT signal can be configured to be triggered by a variety of status conditions. When the ALERT Configuration bit is set AND the corresponding bit in BatteryStatus() or ControlStatus() is set, then the corresponding BatteryAlert() bit is set, triggering the ALERT signal.
