8.3.15 Thermal Protection

The BQ51013C-Q1 includes a thermal shutdown protection. If the die temperature reaches TJ-SD, the LDO is shut off to prevent any further power dissipation. In this case BQ51013C-Q1 will send an EPT message of internal fault (0x02). Once the temperature falls TJ-Hys below TJ-SD, operation can continue.
