8.5.5 I2C Read - Retrieve Multi Data Result

When an I2C read sequence is performed to retrieve multiple data results and the I2C controller does not use the CRC byte to perform a data integrity check, then an I2C NACK can be issued to only discard CRC transmission from the final transmitted data result. Both of these I2C read scenarios are illustrated in Figure 8-7 and Figure 8-8.
