Input Stages

The INL and INH inputs operate independent of each other, with an exception to prevent cross conduction when INH is high and INL is low at the same time. Under such condition, the device turns OFF both the high-side and the low-side outputs to prevent shoot-through. The device has built-in fixed dead time with a typical value of 475 ns. A small filter at each of the inputs of the driver further improves system robustness in noise-prone applications. The INH input has an internal pulldown resistor and the INL input has an internal pullup resistor both with typical value of 200 kΩ. Thus, when the inputs are floating, the outputs are held low.
