Independent gate drive topology of LM74930-Q1 enables to configure the device into unsuppressed load dump or surge protection along with input reverse battery protection. LM74930-Q1 configured in common-source topology to provide 200-V unsuppressed load dump protection with reverse battery protection is Figure 8-1.
