9.6.2 UART BSL

All devices without a USB module (MSP430F535x and MSP430F645x) come preprogrammed with the UART BSL. A UART BSL is also available for devices with USB module that can be programmed by the user into the BSL memory by replacing the preprogrammed, factory supplied, USB BSL. Use of the UART BSL requires external access to six pins (see Table 9-6).
