Configurable Digital Decimation Filters

The device record channel includes a high dynamic range, built-in digital decimation filter to process the oversampled data from the multibit delta-sigma (ΔΣ) modulator to generate digital data at the same Nyquist sampling rate as the FSYNC rate. The decimation filters in the device can be selected to linear-phase or low-latency filters based on the state of the MD2 and MD1 pins according to Table 7-3. This makes the device suitable for a wide variety of audio applications. Following section describes the filter response for different samples rates.
