12.1 Layout Guidelines

There are no special considerations required for most I2C translators, but there are common practices which are always recommended.

It is recommended that decoupling capacitors be used on the power supplies (0.1 µF and 1 µF) and that they be placed as close as possible to the VCCA and VCCB pins.
