11 Power Supply Requirements

The TCAN1167-Q1 is designed to operate from a VSUP input supply voltage range between 5.5 V and 28 V. Input supplies must be well regulated. A bypass capacitance, typically 100 nF, should be placed close to the device VSUP supply pin. This helps to reduce supply voltage ripple present on the outputs of the switched-mode power supplies and also helps to compensate for the resistance and inductance of the PCB power planes and traces.
