10 Power Supply Recommendations

10.1 VPWR Path

The VPWR pin provides power to the TPD2S703-Q1. A 10-μF capacitor is recommended on VPWR as close to the pin as possible for localized decoupling of transients. A supply voltage above the UVLO threshold for VPWR must be supplied for the device to power on.

10.2 VREF Pin

The VREF pin provides a voltage reference for the data switch OVP level as well as a bypass for ESD clamping. A 1-μF capacitor must be placed as close to the pin as possible and the supply must be set to be above the UVLO threshold for VREF.
