The bootstrap capacitor is required to generate the high-side gate drive bias voltage and provide the instantaneous drive current for DRVH. A 0.1-μF ceramic capacitor is recommended to limit the ripple voltage.
R5 (0-Ω) resistance, is added in series with the bootstrap capacitor. This resistor can be used to slow down the turn-on time of the high-side MOSFET dv/dt and reduces rising edge ringing on the SW node to help prevent shoot-through. Keep the value small because a higher value may increase the the turn-on delay time of the high-side switch.
