Overtemperature Protection

An internal temperature sensor protects the devices from thermal runaway. The internal thermal shutdown threshold, TSD, is fixed at 165°C typical with 20°C hysteresis. When the devices sense a temperature above TSD, power conversion stops until the sensed junction temperature falls by the thermal shutdown hysteresis amount. Then, the device starts up again.
