8.3 Power Supply Recommendations

Design of the device is for operation from an input voltage supply with a range between 3 V and 60 V. This input supply must be well regulated. The TPS7A16-Q1 ultra-low-power, high-voltage linear regulator achieves stability with a minimum input capacitance of 0.1 μF and output capacitance of 2.2 μF; however, the use of a 10-μF ceramic capacitor to maximize ac performance is highly recommended.
