6.4.1.7 Photo Feedback Monitor

This BIST is used to detect failures of the photodiode connected to TIA1 and failures of the illumination sources in a HUD in order to detect situations that could lead to unexpected brightness levels. The TPS99000-Q1 ADC channels are used to measure LED current, voltage, and photodiode output levels each frame. The DLPC230-Q1 monitors these values to check for gross out-of-bounds conditions that may occur.

Table 6-12 defines all of the conditions that are checked as a part of this monitoring.
