DLP LightCrafter Single DLPC900 EVM Flex Cable

Electrical malfunctions can occur by stressing the flex cable connecting the DMD circuit board to the DLPC900 controller circuit board. Stressing the flex cable can be caused by:

  • Bending the cable outside the area identified in Figure 4-7 (within 20.3mm of connector plate centers).
  • Repeatedly bending the flex cables where the bend radius is less than 25.4mm.
  • A single bending of the flex cables where the bend radius is less than 6.35mm.

Note:

The minimum bend radius for forming flex cable (flexible) circuit is 6.35mm.

Use caution when bending the flex cable to not exceed bending guidelines explained above.
