6.11.7 Enhanced Universal Serial Communication Interface (eUSCI_A0, eUSCI_B0)

The eUSCI modules are used for serial data communications. The eUSCI_A module supports either UART or SPI communications. The eUSCI_B module supports either SPI or I2C communications. In addition, the eUSCI_A module supports automatic baud-rate detection and IrDA.. The eUSCI_B module is connected either from P1 port or P2 port, it can be selected from the USCIBRMAP bit of the SYSCFG2 register (see Table 6-12).
