Power Supply Recommendations

VLED Input Supply Recommendations

LP5866 is designed to operate with a 2.7V to 5.5V VLED voltage supply. The VLED supply must be well regulated and can provide the peak current required by the LED configuration without voltage drop, under load transients like start-up or rapid brightness change. The resistance of the input supply rail must be low enough so that the input current transient does not cause the VLED supply voltage to drop below LED Vf + VSAT voltage.
