2.4.1.4 Peak Inductor Current

To determine the minimum saturation rating of the inductor current, the peak inductor current at the minimum input voltage must be known and the inductor sized accordingly. This peak inductor current can be calculated using the following equations for average current (IL) and peak current (IL(PK)):

Set the current limit and inductor saturation current rating above 8.35 A.
