Configurable Reference Voltage

The INA750x output is configurable to allow for unidirectional or bidirectional operation. The output voltage is set by applying a voltage from an external reference at REF pin. The voltage at REF pin can range between supply and GND. For symmetric bidirectional current sensing REF is set at mid-supply.

Positions 1 though 3 of header J3 allow the user to customize the REF pin voltage, VREF, with shorting jumper A as shown in Figure 3-1. When using external reference, the voltage source can be connected through J6 or TP4. Configuration options provided by the EVM are shown in Table 2-2.
