6.3.2 ADC2: Software test of function

In this method, internal DAC8(COMPDAC) output is used to setup a known voltage on the ADC input channel. As there is no direct connection between DAC8 in the comparator and the ADC, DAC8 has to be connected to ADC through the OPA. OPA can be configured as a buffer. Other parameters of the ADC like the sampling time, reference sources, sequencer modes are setup similar to the actual application. Software trigger can be utilized to trigger the ADC. The output of the ADC can be compared against the expected range.
