5.2.3 Configuring the Software

Use the following steps to setup the XML for calibrator-20121120.exe to run properly:

  1. Right click My Computer Icon and select Properties in the pop-up menu.
  2. Select the Hardware tab in the System Properties Window (see Figure 5-1), then Click on the Device Manager to go to the Device Manager window.

  3. Check the COM port number of the serial port that is connecting the PC and the EVM.

  4. Open “calibration-config.xml” in the folder “calibrator-runtime” with a text editor or XML editor. Go to the line shown in Figure 5-3 and put in the COM port number in and save the file.
